01 // Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- "Telvar" / "we" / "us" / "our" refers to Telvar, operating from 30 Cecil Street, #19-08, Prudential Tower, Singapore 049712.
- "Service" refers to any of the three analytical consulting services offered by Telvar: Demand Forecasting Model, Customer Behaviour Analysis, and Predictive Analytics Readiness Check.
- "User" / "you" / "your" refers to any individual or organisation accessing our website or engaging our services.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with any applicable engagement agreement or statement of work.
- "Deliverable" refers to the written report, model files, and other outputs produced by Telvar under an engagement.
02 // Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
03 // Service Description
Telvar provides fixed-scope predictive analytics consulting services as described on our website. Services are delivered remotely, with optional video sessions for scoping and deliverable walkthroughs. All services are intended for business clients based in or operating within Singapore and the wider ASEAN region.
We reserve the right to decline to provide services where the nature of the request falls outside our scope or conflicts with our professional standards.
04 // Engagement Process and Payment
Each engagement is initiated by a scoping conversation, followed by a written agreement confirming scope, deliverables, timeline, and price. Work begins after written confirmation from both parties and receipt of payment or agreed deposit.
- Pricing is in Singapore Dollars (SGD) as listed at the time of engagement.
- Payment is due in full prior to commencement of analytical work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer to our Singapore account. Details are provided on invoice.
- Invoices are issued in SGD and include GST where applicable.
05 // User Responsibilities
To enable Telvar to deliver the agreed service, clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete data exports within agreed timelines.
- Ensuring that data provided to Telvar is not subject to third-party restrictions that would prevent its use for analytical modelling.
- Complying with Singapore's PDPA in respect of any personal data included in files shared with Telvar.
- Making relevant team members available for scoping and walkthrough sessions.
- Providing honest and accurate information during scoping and engagement.
Telvar is not responsible for inaccuracies in model outputs that arise from incomplete, mislabelled, or inaccurate source data provided by the client.
06 // Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, Telvar assigns to the client full ownership of the written deliverables produced for that engagement. Telvar retains ownership of any proprietary methodologies, frameworks, and analytical approaches used in producing deliverables.
Clients may not resell, sublicense, or present Telvar's deliverables as their own analytical work to third parties without written consent from Telvar.
All content on our website, including text, design, and structure, is owned by Telvar and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction or distribution requires prior written permission.
07 // Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellation before work begins: Full refund of any payments made.
- Cancellation after work has started: A proportional fee reflecting work completed to that point will be retained. The remainder is refunded within 14 business days.
- Cancellation by Telvar: If we determine we cannot complete the engagement to our standards, we will provide a full refund and a written explanation.

08 // Service-Specific Terms
For each of our three services:
- Demand Forecasting Model: The model is delivered in an agreed file format suitable for use with common spreadsheet or data tools. Ongoing model maintenance is not included. One walkthrough session is included. Updates or extensions are subject to a separate engagement.
- Customer Behaviour Analysis: Findings are based solely on data provided. The analysis addresses the specific questions agreed at scoping. Changes to the scope of questions after work has begun will be assessed for impact on timeline and price.
- Predictive Analytics Readiness Check: The gap analysis is advisory. Implementing the recommendations is the client's responsibility and is not included in the engagement price.
09 // Disclaimers
Telvar's services are provided in good faith using reasonable professional skill and care. However, predictive models are inherently uncertain. No representation is made that any forecast, prediction, or analytical finding will prove accurate, and no outcome or result is warranted.
All deliverables include an explicit statement of uncertainty and model limitations. Decisions made based on Telvar's outputs are the client's sole responsibility.

10 // Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Singapore law, Telvar's total liability for any claim arising from an engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for that specific engagement.
Telvar is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11 // Confidentiality
Telvar treats all client data and business information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law. Clients who require a formal NDA prior to data sharing may request one at no charge.
Telvar may reference completed engagements in general terms (e.g., "a retail logistics client") without identifying the client, unless the client has expressly consented to being named as a reference.
12 // Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Telvar harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, or violation of applicable law in connection with data you provide to us.
13 // Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by providing written notice. In the event of termination, the cancellation and refund provisions in Section 07 apply. Sections on confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, and governing law survive termination.
14 // Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or an engagement with Telvar shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre before any court proceedings are commenced.
The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings that may arise.
15 // Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or engagement of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For active engagements, the terms in effect at the time of engagement apply.
